Scope of the Position

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will  perform a variety of general accounting tasks to support the Controller in ensuring various transactions are properly recorded in accordance with the company policies.  


  • Fast paced Plant environment in the Automotive Industry requiring a motivated/self-starter, Accounts Receivable Clerk/Professional to take charge, with 5 years’ experience.
  • Responsible for Customer billing and collections, Customer Master maintenance, Price Master maintenance, payment/shipment/Other payment discrepancy resolution, working with other members of the Bradford Operations Team to resolve payment issues.
  • Working with Automotive OEM systems, related knowledge a plus. Analyzing and coding customer payment deductions.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly reporting, Bank reconciliations, Month end close and related reconciliations and journal entries. Intercompany reconciliations.
  • Responsible for verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Knowledge of Epicor/CMS a plus, excel spreadsheets.
  • Physical inventory support.
  • Assist the Controller as necessary.


  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or
  • 5+ years of Accounts Receivable experience 
  • Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency with computer applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
  • Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
